Biography

Dr. Yi-Chun Chang is a postdoctoral research associate in the Real-world Evaluation in Behavioral Epidemiology (REBEL) Lab at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. She received her M.S. and Ph.D. in experimental psychology, with a focus on health psychology, from Washington State University.

Dr. Chang is a psychologist with a strong interest in quantitative methods in addiction science. Her research focuses on risk and protective factors for substance use among adolescents and young adults. She studies patterns of and motives for substance use, as well as how mental health relates to substance use and the co-use of multiple substances. Through this work, she aims to generate evidence that informs prevention, intervention, and regulatory policy.
